Its the next step for us. Myself and Ryan knew we were gonna do this eventually at some point, and the time was right. I won’t bore you with logistics here. In fact, you can bore yourself with the logistics if you like by heading to the new site. But check it out guys, http://www.audiojerks.com.
Hey guys. Phil here. I’m sure you’ve noticed the lack of updates. Even less updates than normal. There’s been a reason for that. We’ve got something up our sleeves that we’ve been working on. Ryan and myself have discussed this change several times in the past, and I’m at the point where I’m ready to run with it. So enjoy. Good times are a coming y’all. And soon. Not like 3 months from now, but real soon.

Jukebox the Ghost - Schizophrenia
One of the bands I’ve been really really into the last few months is Jukebox the Ghost. Very reminiscient of early Ben Folds Five. Here they are making their network television debut on David Letterman last night. New album, “Everything Under the Sun” drops this Tuesday, September 7. Shameless plug I know. Enjoy.

i love the song, and i love the video, but i hate that the album release date is over 3 months away.
Yeah, it’s only a week, which in the broad scheme of things is like a weekend getaway for working, mid level bands. But considering how uber-fucking rarely Steve Albini and his fickle post punk mates in Shellac actually take to the road, color me excited.
The band will open September with six shows in eight days, starting in Cleveland and wrapping in Michigan but otherwise keeping to the East Coast. Pitchfork is also reporting that the September 6 show at the Middle East in Boston will be co-headlined by none other than Mission of Burma, which would be an absolutely unmissable bill. Then they said that it wasn’t happening. And then after that they said, well, maybe but we’re not sure. Yeah for unreliable internet news sites! Thanks Pitchfork.
Anyway, if lucky enough to be in one of the below cities in the next week or two I’d highly recommend dropping some coin to check’em out. Last time I saw them was 2006 and my ears are still ringing. Rock!
